We hired a Renault campervan and what about ... cool! The minivan is equipped with everything and super comfortable both for eating inside and for sleeping (the inside table can be disassembled to make room for the bed).
Although theoretically it would be for 3 people, in reality it is perfect for a couple (3 would be a little tight unless the third is a child). Staff very nice and helpful.
We used the service (for a fee) for the release of the minivan at the airport, very convenient.
Heating for the night is certainly irreplaceable as even in August the temperatures are quite low and the sleeping bag alone is not enough.
A truly perfect solution for touring the island

Super expérience avec Kuku campers : notre van (B) est bien pensé et pratique. Le chauffage d'appoint avec batterie séparée permet de passer des nuits relativement au chaud. Les assurances sont clairement expliquées sur le site et à l'arrivée, pas de mauvaises surprises. Super communication avec l'équipe, bonne ambiance !
Nous avons dû rendre le véhicule un jour plus tôt que prévu à cause d'un changement de vol (voyage en période COVID) : ils nous ont remboursé le jour non utilisé sans même qu'on demande un geste.
Bref : le meilleur moyen de visiter l'Islande et sûrement la meilleure compagnie de van.

Our trip wouldn't have been as amazing if it wasn't for Kuku campers, they were so helpful in getting us everything we needed for our voyage and giving us great reccomendations on places to see. I can't imagine seeing Iceland any other eay; kuku camper vans are the way to go!!

Super friendly staff. Well maintained new camper vans. Had an amazing 2 weeks road trip in Iceland. Can't wait for going back to Iceland and doing a trip with kuku camper !!!
