De retour après 4300 km parcourus à bord de notre super bolide, non sans devoir surmonter quelques péripéties : changer une roue crevée (pour la première fois en pratique), se retrouver coincé hors de la voiture, sans nos affaires, dans le froid et tout ça au fin fond de l'Islande. Sinon, ce ne serait pas vraiment l'aventure !
Nous garderons pour longtemps cette expérience incroyable et hors du commun en mémoire et reviendrons peut-être un jour, pour finir notre road trip dans les fjords de l'Ouest que nous n'avons pu découvrir qu'en partie en raison de la météo et de l'arrivée précipitée de la neige là-haut.
Merci Kuku Campers de nous avoir permis de découvrir ce pays dans ces conditions !

Quel bonheur de luncher au gré des envies, des décors de rêve, grâce à notre bouteille de gaz, et en cas de vent, la petite table à l'intérieur pour cuisiner à l'abri.

L'Islande c'est super mais sans le Kuku Campers ça aurait été moins chouette, retourné en France alors que l'Islande c'est trop cool c'est compliqué (même si mon chat me manque) ! J'ai hâte à y retourner avec ma belle-mère et sa fille pour faire le nord, l'est et l'ouest :!

They saw the golden circle, drove the ring road, went through a hell of a whale watching, saw puffins, glacial hiking, saw 5 waterfalls, caught a glimpse of the aurora, learned to keep Fathu way from the sun and the cold and refrain Abdulla from peeing in nature. A true "bro" trip - we at KuKu hope we are not spilling some serous beans here!!

Thelma, Louise and Louise seem to have been horrified by the sight of Bárður Snæfellsás sculpture at Snæfellsnes and he seems to have reminded them of Pooka "monster". But Bárður is half Titan (good troll) and half human and protects the inhabitants of Snæfellsnes - and thus not the scary type at all.
